Time with Kaiden and Josh

Kaiden loved talking to the dogs, saying "gggggg" really deep in his throat. Josh got down on his level to play with him.

Kaiden loved standing up without any help and watching the dogs. This entertained him for a long time!

Look what I can do, Mommy!!

Thanksgiving 2009

So----Since I can't get the print and pictures in the order I really want them, here goes......
We had a great Thanksgiving Day.

One of my favorite shots of Kaiden!

Mark telling Kaiden all about something. Girls???

We ate some really good food--the turkey is somewhere..... We are glad that Grandmother Wright came to be with us.

Aunt Heather is hogging Kaiden, again! ha ha

The outer limits of excitement!! We did go shooting and Heather got the pictures of that event.
It was fun, but because of that, the rolls didn't get done until evening.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SAM! We got him a rope and a hat with the beaded hat band that I made.
It was a fun day all around.

Wedding weekend

Brittany and Nick at Starla's reception. The food was great. It was fun to have so many of our family there.

Mark and Grandmother.

The happy parents of the bride (the mom is about to collapse!!)

Sam showing off his photog skills by snapping a picture of the two of us.
Not bad!

Well, it was fun to see everyone, even though the girls win on posing for the picture! And Austin showed up AFTER the picture, so sorry, Austin. But thanks for coming over so we could hang out together!!

Wedding weekend

Starla and Jarom are SO happy!

This is my favorite picture of the two of us!

The Morgans and a beautiful day on the Temple grounds.

The "twin" sister and our youngest grandchildren, Kaiden and Elizabeth.

What is Jeff doing??? I don't know.

Sagavis Birthday Party -- Six years old!!

I think her favorite gift was the 10 one-dollar bills from Uncle Sam!

She loved the picture of Great-grandmother Wright and held it up to her face with a big smile.

Happy birthday, Sagavi--or should we say "Hannah Montana, Rock Star!" But Sagavi is so much more beautiful!

Joshua recently got a buzz haircut. Cool! The kids had glitter and paint in their hair to match the rock star party. It was a lot of fun. We ate pizza and birthday cake.

Family visits at Grandmother Wright's

We have to start them young!!!

Fun times with Uncles!!

Check out Uncle Sam's guns!!

Keep it coming, Heather. I am hungry!!

Brittany surprised us all with the BLONDE hair! Love it!

A week in North Carolina

This is the clock tower at Wake Forest University. The campus is beautiful. I was so excited when we accidentally drove right up the the entrance. I have always heard about Wake Forest during basketball playoffs and wondered what the school would look like. I took a whole bunch of pictures, but I will not bore you with them here.

We ate a lot, and so there was always clean-up to do. I caught Jennie in the act.

Isaac and Maylee are very good eaters.

I think Jennie is looking for a yummy recipe to make.

Kevin cooked some delicious zucchini bread out of the zucchini in their garden. We ate squash, lettuce, cucumbers and zucchini from their garden. Yes, out east the yellow squash is squash and zucchini is not, so we ate squash and zucchini.

(This next part was supposed to be first, but I obviously don't understand how to organize the information on the blog. Oh well.)

Dave and I went to North Carolina for a week to visit Jennie, Kevin, Isaac and Maylee. We had a great time. We enjoyed a lot of delicious food that both Kevin and Jennie fixed for us. We learned Maylee's favorite words -- NO!, Isaac, cookie, daddy and mommie, and a few others. We enjoyed Isaac's awesome southern drawl, especially when he says, "Come on, guys!" Thanks for the fun time and for giving us your big bed, and for being such a sweet family. We love you guys!
