Memorial Day trip to Yarnell

Today Dad and I went on a little trip to Yarnell. I thought I would travelog with the camera. Of course, our trip started out with the two of us well-equipped with drinks. I deleted the picture of the gas pump and the steering wheel. Aren't we glad of that?

This is a view of the valley towards Aguila on our way UP the mountain to Yarnell. I think Dad slowed down a little for this shot. It was a beautiful day. We had a lot of fun.

This picture is on here so I can brag on what I have learned watching NCIS and CSI. We wanted the phone number on this sign, but it was too small for me to read, so I took a picture of it, and then zoomed in and zoomed in on my camera until I could read the number! How cool is that? Proof that I must continue my hours of watching all these scientific shows!!!!!

It was beautiful in Yarnell and Peeple's Valley. It was cool and there was a breeze. We really had a fun trip. We got out and stretched every now and then. I stepped on a little piece of cactus and got pricklies in my little toe, so Dave got them out with his pocket knife. We ate a delicious lunch in Yarnell. We hated to go back down to the heat, but .........
