A week in North Carolina

This is the clock tower at Wake Forest University. The campus is beautiful. I was so excited when we accidentally drove right up the the entrance. I have always heard about Wake Forest during basketball playoffs and wondered what the school would look like. I took a whole bunch of pictures, but I will not bore you with them here.

We ate a lot, and so there was always clean-up to do. I caught Jennie in the act.

Isaac and Maylee are very good eaters.

I think Jennie is looking for a yummy recipe to make.

Kevin cooked some delicious zucchini bread out of the zucchini in their garden. We ate squash, lettuce, cucumbers and zucchini from their garden. Yes, out east the yellow squash is squash and zucchini is not, so we ate squash and zucchini.

(This next part was supposed to be first, but I obviously don't understand how to organize the information on the blog. Oh well.)

Dave and I went to North Carolina for a week to visit Jennie, Kevin, Isaac and Maylee. We had a great time. We enjoyed a lot of delicious food that both Kevin and Jennie fixed for us. We learned Maylee's favorite words -- NO!, Isaac, cookie, daddy and mommie, and a few others. We enjoyed Isaac's awesome southern drawl, especially when he says, "Come on, guys!" Thanks for the fun time and for giving us your big bed, and for being such a sweet family. We love you guys!
